Let God Restart Your Heart This New Year
Happy New Year!Well I hope everyone had a great New Years! I’m excited to get back on track for 2021! So, I’ve been trolling through social media and looking at all the New Years resolutions, etc. and it’s pretty funny. Not funny because people are trying to better themselves, lose weight, etc. it’s the commentary around each resolution! People are so worried that they may offend or be offended the posts are becoming watered down. They’ve been edited to death! It got me thinking about why we are so worried about being offended or offending? Look, offenses are inevitable. No one is exempt. One way or another, we are all going to get offended, hurt, insulted, betrayed, cheated, shamed, violated or lose our pride.Since being offended is a Biblical fact, we must learn how to deal with it.Opposition can cause you to face things and do things you could not have done without the opposition. Opposition will make you pray. Opposition will make you come running to God. Opposition will make you increase your faith. You may need to start seeing those who offend or hurt you as an opportunity for God to take you higher...“And he said to his disciples, "Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!”Luke 17:1 It’s time to let God restart your heart. Make that your New Years resolution. Have a great weekend!Be Nice,Grace wins
