Day 5I want to stay on “God’s Plan” for another day or so...We’ve all heard the many euphemisms; Things happen for a reason; They are what they are; blah, blah, blah...But do we really believe it and what does it mean to live by faith trusting God’s Plan?Well, to me, it means not taking yourself and your circumstances so seriously. Learning to laugh a little at yourself (I do this a lot). It means we stop trying to monitor His plan everyday and just let it unfold before us. I have complete faith that no matter how much I do or don’t worry about what will or won’t happen it’s going to happen. Dig? “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”Proverbs 17:22 You see most of everything that happens is beyond our control anyhow. So let go, trust in Him and let God carry the weight on his shoulders. We talked about this a few days ago, His shoulders are bigger than ours...“Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."”Matthew 11:29-30 ESVLet your troubles go today and make a point to laugh at yourself...I’m going to, I’ve got plenty of reason!Peace,
