Death is Not the End: The Promise of Eternal Life
“Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”John 14:6 I found out yesterday one of my good friends lost his father over the weekend. While he had been fighting the good fight for a couple of years now, it’s never easy to let someone go. His suffering here is done. So now it’s a time to celebrate a life well lived and a time to grieve with family and friends. But mostly, it’s a time to celebrate a man going home to see his Lord and Savior. You see, for me, losing someone is always a reminder of what a wonderful gift God gave us in his son Jesus Christ. In the scripture above Jesus said, “no one comes to the Father but through me”. He is the way the truth and the light! The beauty of this whole deal is we just have to believe and turn our lives over to Christ. Accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior and we are good! I mean, what a deal huh? Anyhow, I can get carried away. But my point is simple. Death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life in Heaven with our maker. The road is well marked and the directions are clear. All you have to do is believe...Go make that beautiful music Mr. Dodd, you will be missed but we’ll see you soon. That is promised.Be Nice, Grace Wins

More Than Enough
Jesus doesn't need the sharpest tool in the shed. Two fish and five loaves, a shepherd's stick, whatever you've got, is more than enough. The Lord specializes in turning failures into successes.

A Love for Truth
When you tell lies, you're not just lying to others, you're lying to yourself, and lying to God. Jesus called lying Satan's native language. Let your love for God be accompanied by a love for truth.

Your Story to Tell
Just back from the Rockies, listening to old friends and new ones tell their stories got me thinking about sharing our own, the story of God's forgiveness. Who do you know who needs to hear it?
