Finding Balance Between Truth and Grace
So I’ve been reading a little and diving into the idea of Truth and Grace as it pertains to us and how we may identify with one or the other. Let me explain. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”John 1:14 So truth is about reality regardless of the pain. I had to let this marinate a second but I agree. And Grace is about second chances and letting things slide. Jesus was both of these. You see, the truth is I am a sinner and deserve an eternity in hell but because of His grace I am forgiven and allowed to have a close and personal relationship with Him...and the promise of eternity. I dig that. But it is important for us to understand which side of truth and grace we lean towards. For me,I’m pretty much a “truth guy” and I struggle with immediately finding grace. Eventually I think I do, but my initial reactions are generally not “Grace” based. I need to work on that. On the other hand, many of you are Grace to a fault. You try and understand a person who has bad beliefs. I think whatever you are, even if you’re a blend of both, we need to ask Jesus to help us be more like Him to those who are around us. Know the truth and show the Grace. Be Nice. Grace wins.

Sorry Enough to Change
There's a big difference between saying sorry and actually being sorry. Repentance means turning away from the wrong, sorry enough to change. God's love means He will always forgive us.
