God Knows You Completely and Loves You Unconditionally

Almost everyday I like to look back at what I wrote and what we were talking about in the past years. It’s hard to believe I’ve been at this now since 2018. I am still humbled by the fact that you’re still here. Amazing really...so thank you. Anyhow, this is a throwback to five years ago. I remember writing it as if it were today. Maybe you remember it?God knows you, he made you. So who are trying to kid? Why are we trying to hide from God? He can read our mind... “You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.”Psalms 139:2 He knows how great our imperfections and failings are, and it was for just such a person as you and I and for needs just like ours that he sent his Son to live for us, die for us, and rise again for us. I totally dig! His perfection makes up for all your failures. I was pondering on this as I was listening to a George Strait song today, “A love without end, Amen”. The last verse of the song says, “Last night I stood out side those pearly gates, when suddenly I realized there must be some mistake. When they have known the things I’ve done they’ll never let me in, then somewhere from the other side I heard these words again...”You see our Father has a “love for us without end”. Just as he made us, he knows our thoughts, our feelings and what we’ve done. Instead of hiding from him, lay it on him and leave it with him. He’s going to love you unconditionally, perfectly.
