God's Plans Are Greater Than We Imagine
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah 29:11 Friends, read it again,Over and over...it never gets old. For that reason, I won’t stop writing about it. You see, God has a plan for us, it’s for good and hope. It’s probably NOT what you thought it was either...So why and am I so excited to write about it again? Well, one of our members in this group text has had a inspiring 12 months and I feel moved to share his story. A year ago Will Posey was injured training for Supercross. He was paralyzed from the waist down. Saturday, Will just took home the Silver medal in Winter X Games in Aspen, CO in adaptive Snow Cross. For those that don’t know what that is, it’s a Supercross race held on Snow. Simply amazing this kid. What’s more amazing is his faith in God. I’m sure over the last year Will has gone through emotions none of us could even imagine, but I know his faith in the Lord is strong. I’ve have many conversations with him, and despite the urge to quit, the “why me’s” and “what if’s”, Will allowed God to take him to a place he’d never dreamt. I mean a year ago he was a top Motocross and Supercross racer. Who could have dreamed one year later God would have Will touching peoples lives as a medalist in Winter X Games? On God knew....I could go on forever, and I usually do, but I just wanted to share a story of one of us who trusted his faith in God and He delivered in way only He could know. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”Proverbs 3:5 Congratulations Will, we all love you buddy!Have a great week!Peace,
