Good and Bad Happen to All: Keep Eternity in Mind

Last thing on Job and suffering and let’s ring in the weekend. Job was a tremendously righteous man and suffered greatly. So do we assume that the more righteous we are the more suffering we are to expect? Not necessarily. The large part of Job’s life features God’s blessings in every way. You see, Christ tells His disciples that good and bad things happen to good and bad people.“so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”Matthew 5:45 In other words, we all suffer. Period.
