Good Trees Bear Good Fruit Through Suffering
One of the things that makes me know I’m doing something worth while is when I get feedback from you. It always brightens my day knowing not only are you reading what I send, but that you’re engaged in the conversation. So, with that in mind, I’d like to share what our young Embry-Riddle student of aviation in Daytona Beach, Florida sent to me yesterday:“Your devotional today made me think of another verse. When we do good works we aren’t necessarily rewarded with earthly things, but often suffering. We gain good fruit tho. “A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Those who are bearing good fruit will suffer in this life but rejoice that in heaven, blessed are the suffering.”Thanks Nathaniel! I think this is exactly in line and I great point. Awesome share. Be Nice, Grace WinsFrank
