Overcoming Fear with God's Power and Love
We all have fears, fears of failure, injury, death, etc. But is it really healthy? What purpose does it serve, really...Fear serves one—and only one—purpose: to keep you alive. It’s nothing more than a survival response. Here’s what that means. If you’re in the woods and you run across a massive bear with razor-sharp teeth and claws, your fear response should kick in and tell you, “Don’t go pet the bear. You know what? Better yet, RUN!” That fear will help you survive. But other than that, when fear becomes anxiety or worry, it’s a bad thing.God didn’t create us to live our lives in fear. He created us to live with power, love, and a sound mind or courage. So what are you worrying about? Where do you have fear, anxiety, and worry in your life?Know that God gave you a spirit to overcome that. Pray to have a God give you the strength to face your fears today, you got this!“for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”2 Timothy 1:7 God>mePeace,

Not a Suggestion
God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Courage isn't something you work up on your own, it's your inheritance. Fear was never part of the package.
