Peace in the Storm
Can we have peace in our hearts when our world is turned upside down?Pretty good question that requires an honest look inward. You see the kind of peace the world give us is pretty sketch at best. It can change on a whim with no notice at all. Happen to me just last week, may have happened to you recently too. But the kind of peace that Jesus promises is based on the foundation of God Himself, unchanging, loving, gracious, merciful, and faithful. God’s peace thrives in the midst of our trials and tribulations. Sometimes the comforts we feel can be the comforts of sin and we are afraid to let them go. So when they’re gone or the thought of losing them stresses us out. We need to honestly look at the change or loss we are fearing. Many times it is a loss God wants us to experience so we can grow closer to Him and find that peace He promises. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”John 14:27 Be Nice, Grace Wins,

Keeping Him at Bay
68 rounds in, and the fear still shows up. Knowing my life is in God's hands doesn't erase the worry. But perfect love casts out fear, one more time, every time it creeps back in.
