The Promise of New Beginnings in Christ
“Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."”John 3:3 Jesus is telling us how we get to Heaven. You see, Christianity, in a sense, is about new beginnings. If we are not prepared to make a fresh start each day, putting the mistakes of yesterday behind us, we will never be fully open to the blessings God has in store for us.We have all experienced good and bad in our lives, but there comes a time to leave the past behind. Everyone makes mistakes and while it is easy to get stuck in the past, God invites us to face the future with anticipation, knowing that we are forgiven and that the Lord has given us a fresh start.I thought about this simple truth, and the simple promise that we have been given. It bears repeating and it’s a great way to ease our way to the weekend. So today, bring it all back down to its basic form. Take a breath, forget the past, and look forward to Gods promise of a future that is full of hope and eternal life!Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Paid in Full
A Cody Johnson lyric stopped me cold: Jesus has already paid every debt I owe. Most of us walk around with a tally sheet. But the books were balanced two thousand years ago. Tetelestai. Paid in full.
