Ask and You Will Receive
“Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”John 16:24 So, we’ve been talking about how Jesus is still, and always has been, in the prayer answering business. But here is the big question; what do you want? You can pray for big things and small things; He answers both. He wants you to ask! He wants to fill you with joy through answered prayer.I get it though, I find it’s hard to ask for things in my life when I already feel like I’ve been given more than I deserve. Heck, forgiveness was enough, right? But He wants us to ask Him to come into our lives and be an active part. He wants to give us what we ask for? Many times throughout the Bible Jesus asked, “What do you want me to do for you?” Mark 10:51“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”1 John 5:14-15 So, pretty short lesson, just ask...Be Nice, Grace Wins!

The Very Thing
When Paul said give thanks in all circumstances, he meant ALL. Including the crappy ones. Try thanking God today for the very thing that's keeping you from thanking Him.

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.
