Be Still and Know That I Am God
What does it mean to “Be still and know”?This is from the Psalm of King David. Psalm 46:10-11“"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah”Psalms 46:10-11 I like this verse but what is it telling us? Well, in short, it is telling us to stop trying to figure out everything on our own. The Lord is telling us not necessarily to just “be still” but to spend time each day and meditate on His word. Be silent and listen to The Lord. We need to all wake up and stop fearing what is around us and rest knowing that God’s got this! We need to rest in awe of his power and grace. He is our refuge and our strength. Have a great weekendBe Nice. Grace wins,
