Bloom Where You're Planted: God's Purpose in Every Place
“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”Jeremiah 29:7 God didn’t put you where you are by mistake. He doesn’t make mistakes. When we believe in our hearts God is good and that His thoughts toward us are peaceful and that He is going to bring us through to the other side, we are able to rest and enjoy God’s peace no matter how strong the storm is around us! Right!?Like I started yesterday, wherever you are, whatever you are facing, pray! Pray for the place that God is moving you to and pray for the people who are a part of your difficult circumstances. Keeping in mind, while we may feel like we are going through this on our own, there are others affected as well. Live in such a way that God is honored and receives glory because the non-believers are watching and taking note of how you handle your mess. By “blooming where you are planted,” you do more to share your faith by being a living testimony. You see, God doesn’t want you to panic or run around like crazy trying to figure a way out of your situation. Instead, He asks you to stand still and see the Lord fight this battle for you, stand still and see God provide for you, stand still and see God work out this thing for your good.If Christ is in you, you will make it to the finish line. You will see that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train but God Himself. You, my friend, will pass through your mess and make it to the other side.Be nice. Grace wins.
