Breaking Isolation Through Community and Connection
In times of need like we are all going though, yes we need to be practicing our social distancing, but are you going at it alone or are you surrounding ourselves with loved ones? Not physically, but is someone there for you or are you there for someone? This may sound silly, but it’s important. I know a lot of people are without work right now and my be experiencing other problems, but when you feel depressed or anxious, how do you typically respond? One way that many people tend to respond is by isolating themselves. This only feeds the lie that says, “I’m all alone.” God’s best for us is that we live surrounded by a community that cares for us, encourages us, and helps us in times of need. Who do you have in your life to support and encourage you? How can you be that support for someone else? What can you do to keep yourself from isolating when life gets hard? “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”Proverbs 17:17 Pick up the phone today and call someone you normally wouldn’t and check on them. Be Nice, Grace Wins. FMJ

What Does It Matter?
When you find yourself judging someone else's motives for sharing the gospel, ask what Paul asked from his prison cell: what does it matter? As long as Christ is preached.
