Finding God's Blessings in Ordinary Moments
You ever stopped for a minute and looked around at all the blessings God has bestowed on you? I mean, look we all get excited and share His work when it’s something big like a new job, birth of a child, etc. But do you ever really stop and look around and see how His blessing are everywhere? Think about it a minute...We have a choice to rush through our days or find Him in the ordinary moments of life. The praiseworthy moments happen every day and we can blow right past them in the busyness of life and frustrations that happen throughout our day. Our natural tendency is self-centeredness and can cause us to look to the next thing or what others are doing instead of acknowledging His goodness right in front of us. When was the last time you went hungry, didn’t have a roof over your head? How about the little chats with your kids or the slight smile from you spouse that says, “I love you” without saying a word. I thought about it today spending some time with my dogs. They need me, they rely on me and this is a true blessing from God. All of it is. We need to be just as grateful for the little things as we are for the big ones. All of it is praiseworthy, we have so much to be thankful for. “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.”Psalms 9:1 Be Nice, Grace Wins.

Not Earned
Confidence in our salvation doesn't come from our good works, it comes from God's grace. Our good works are the result of our faith, not a requirement for it.

What Does It Matter?
When you find yourself judging someone else's motives for sharing the gospel, ask what Paul asked from his prison cell: what does it matter? As long as Christ is preached.

Paid in Full
A Cody Johnson lyric stopped me cold: Jesus has already paid every debt I owe. Most of us walk around with a tally sheet. But the books were balanced two thousand years ago. Tetelestai. Paid in full.
