Forgiveness as Worship: God's Steadfast Love
Welp, we made it another week! Let’s take the weekend and think about forgiveness. It’s not that I’m saying we don’t forgive, I just think we can all use a reminder as we part for a couple of day about the one thing that is the essence of who we are...forgiveness. You see, God loves you! And he knows that you love him! He is a loving and gracious God. Therefore He would never ask anything from you that would harm you. He wants you to live your life in peace and harmony. God knows that forgiving is difficult. However, it’s also an act of worship. Sometimes it takes several cycles until you have completely forgiven someone. However, it proves how much you love God and that you are willing to do anything possible to glorify Him.As you forgive, you will be forgiven.“Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.”Micah 7:18-19Be Nice, Grace Wins
