God is Listening: Your Prayers Aren't Falling on Deaf Ears

You ever get frustrated when you’re talking to someone and it seems like you’re wasting your breath? Like they’re not listening or couldn’t care less? Well, if you’re married like me, you’ve been accused of it by your wife and I’m sure if you have kids you know what I’m talking about...Well, it easy to think sometimes that God isn’t hearing us. Like all the praying we are doing is falling on deaf ears. Mostly because we always seem to expect, or want, something done now. But you and I both know by now it doesn’t work that way. But here is the good news; He is listening. “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”Matthew 7:7-8 You see, Jesus explained that God is excited to hear our prayers and is eager to help us with what we need. Just remember though, He is running the show. He wrote the script in your movie...you just have to trust Him and let the scene in you story play out.
