God Is the Great Restorer
Ok, no surprise that I’m struggling though the loss of my father. But we all experience loss and God doesn’t like it. In fact, it wasn’t always supposed to be, but sin crept in and now we have to deal with it. But I believe, correction, I know God is the great restorer. So what is giving me hope is I have faith that this loss isn’t the end. Today, God is in the midst of restoring the world to its original design. He sent His son Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, and the Bible tells us that He is working out all things for those who love Him. Grief and loss do not have the final word, God does. This gives me so much peace. While I know we all respond to loss differently, one thing is constant in all of us. God restores, loves, and cares for His people, and He wants to do that for you and me too.I hope you had a great “be nice” day.Have a great holiday weekend. We will start back Tuesday. Grace,
