God Is With Me, Always
We've spent last week primarily talking about letting go and trusting God with His plan for us. So I thought I'd send us into the weekend with Joshua 1:9.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9
When we go through hard times, it's easy to feel that God has left us. But from what I'm reading, we can go with absolute knowledge that God is with us wherever we go. Just because times are hard doesn't mean God is not at work. Our circumstances don't define God. Therefore, we have no reason to be afraid. If the God who created Heaven and Earth is on our side, nothing can stop us.
So let's roll into the weekend with this simple thought. God is with me, always.
I'm on vacation this week, so if my message isn't exactly on time, it just means I'm getting some much needed rest.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

Soliciting vs. Understanding
We say Lord willing, but do we actually trust His answers? Prayer and trust go hand in hand. I'm trying to spend my prayer time understanding God rather than soliciting Him.

A Better Script
Waiting is boring and passive, and we want things now. But waiting on God builds trust and lets us see His will unfold. When I am ready, He unfolds a script beyond anything I could write myself.

Selfless
Every screen tells us to love self, focus on self, better self. Jesus says the opposite. Deny self. When there's more of God, you're Selfless.
