Gratitude for Everyone You Meet
You know, a few weeks ago I was talking about The Great Commission and how we are called to share the story of Christ. Well, today I got to thinking about the people we surround ourselves with and the people we express our gratitude towards. You see, sharing our gratitude with others is a great way to allow our words and actions to impact others. It’s these “others” I want to focus on today. It’s easy to express our gratitude with the people we are closer to, but what about the everyday people you come in contact with daily. The clerk at the grocery store, the waiter, etc. It’s easy to get going about our lives and we quit noticing people...this isn’t cool. Jesus spoke to everyone, the sick, the poor, the criminal. You see, he took to time to find value in everyone he met, look them in the eye and share the story of His Father in Heaven. There are people all around us we can and should be grateful for. “We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers,”1 Thessalonians 1:2 Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.

Nothing Compares
Much of what we're grateful for are things of this world. But in light of what we have in Christ, nothing compares. Nothing this world offers comes close to a personal relationship with Jesus.
