Look Up and Praise God's Glory
You ever slowed down enough to take a look at how self obsessed our culture has become today? Man, I have. Everywhere you turn it’s another “be the better you” or whatever. We hardly notice anymore how self-obsessed we’re encouraged to be, how self-absorbed we really are. We’re so bent on improving ourselves and how that looks on social media that it breeds narcissism. So, I’ve been diving into this notion and came across this by C.S. Lewis who writes, ‘I had not noticed how the humblest, and at the same time most balanced and capacious, minds, praised most, while the cranks, misfits and malcontents praised least... I had not noticed either that just as men spontaneously praise whatever they value, so they spontaneously urge us to join them in praising it: “Isn’t she lovely? Wasn’t it glorious? Don’t you think that magnificent?” The Psalmists, in telling everyone to praise God, are doing what all men do when they speak of what they care about.’ Exactly! So let’s look up to God and shout out to others about the amazing gifts He has blessed us with. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.”Psalm 19:1-2 Be Nice, Grace WinsFMJBTW-Today’s Valentine’s Day fellas. You’re welcome.

Right Where You Are
God speaks through events, setbacks, blessings, and everyday circumstances. Life takes patience. Most of the time, the answer is right where you already are. How well we hear Him depends on how willing we are to embrace that.

Reluctant Heroes
No hero in the Bible ever set out to be one. Mary, David, Abraham, they just did what was in front of them. Walk humbly with your God. That's the whole thing, isn't it?

A Love for Truth
When you tell lies, you're not just lying to others, you're lying to yourself, and lying to God. Jesus called lying Satan's native language. Let your love for God be accompanied by a love for truth.
