Read the Instructions
A few years ago I purchased a new study Bible. I think I've mentioned it before, but I can't really remember. Anyhow, something struck me as I was messing around with it, reading different books in the Bible.
Read the instructions.
I'm like you. I often wish life had an instruction manual. Well, actually, God has given us one. It's called the Bible. It's our guide and source as we follow Jesus.
Many people are looking for answers to life's big questions of purpose and value, and all of that is in the Bible. God's Word has been given to us for our benefit. Jesus said it Himself:
"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock."
Matthew 7:24-25
When we build our life on His Word, our life will stand strong no matter what comes our way.
Too many lives are destroyed when we choose to do the opposite of what's in the Bible. But everything in it is for our good and benefit. When we read it, and then ultimately start doing what it says, our life begins to grow and thrive in every area.
The fact that you're reading this devotional means you're willing to participate in a discussion based on the Bible. So keep it up. Over time, you'll see your life transformed into one full of peace, strength, and purpose, the kind that can only come from following the principles and truth in God's Word.
The entire basis of this devotional, for me, has been for you to hold me accountable for staying in the Word.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

Not a Suggestion
God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Courage isn't something you work up on your own, it's your inheritance. Fear was never part of the package.
