Stay Calm in the Storm: Jesus Has Overcome
In time of struggle, how reasonable are you? Do you control your reaction and are you well tempered?“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."”John 16:33 “Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;”Philippians 4:5 When our emotions are unchecked we can release a storm on those around us, I know, I’ve struggled with this my whole life. This storm can reap havoc on those who are in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, on the other hand, we can avert many ugly situations by simply being calm. Just be cool man...This is the composure Paul is referring to in the verse above. Jesus promised we’d have trouble, but he also promised He’d be with us through the fight. How you handle that fight will reveal where your trust ultimately lies. If you trust in Jesus and believe he is always with you, the byproduct of releasing the control to him will be a contagious calm that surrounds your life. This calm will allow you to see how God is working in your situation and others will notice there is something different about you. It will bring healing to your anxiety, mature your faith, and show others that God is always faithful.Present your problems to the Lord, he will respond. God>MeHave a Tuesday will ya!Peace,
