Take Heart: Jesus Has Overcome the World
As we head into Good Friday and Easter weekend with the Virus Pandemic around us, let’s make a point to focus on our Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, it’s time to remember the words of Jesus, His encouragement to ‘take heart’ as He has overcome the world. What does that mean? It means we have an eternal destiny, far greater than anything the world offers. Sometimes, this promise Jesus made will mean physical healing, miraculous transformation, and answers to prayer that you could never have dreamed of. Other times, it will mean a new depth of character and strength, that hope and perseverance will rise up, despite the challenges.“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."”John 16:33 Just as my grandmother and my father said, it’s a reminder that one day this too shall pass. Whether your trial is emotional, relational, financial, physical or any storm we face in life, Jesus is there in the midst of it.Be Nice, Grace Wins.
