Waiting to be Immersed in the Holy Spirit
We ended the week talking about waiting. This is a tough one for me and so I’ve continued my dive into this idea that I can somehow learn to “wait” or be “patient” for what’s to come. I have to remember that time and time again, we are told to wait and “it” will be revealed. Just as John the Baptist was told to wait. You see, the word ‘baptized’ means to immerse, to cover, to saturate, and to bury. To be baptized with the Holy Spirit is to be totally surrounded, saturated, and covered with the Holy Spirit. A person who is saturated knows they are wet; someone immersed in the Holy Spirit knows it.John the Baptist said that the Messiah would carry out this baptism. Following His resurrection, Jesus told His disciples to wait until they had received this gift. What prayer are you praying as you wait? Is it to be immersed in the Holy Spirit?Be Nice, Grace Wins

Before Your Feet Hit the Floor
Before your feet hit the floor each morning, surrender the day to Him. Humility isn't thinking less of ourselves, it's thinking of ourselves less often. His will over our own.
