Walking with Integrity in a Crooked World
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”Proverbs 10:9 It’s a big weekend for college football the next couple weekend and I for one am excited. It’s hard though not to see what is going on with the new NIL deals and the transfer portals. In today's world of sports, it seems that anything done for an advantage is fair game—as long as you don't get caught. While this may have helped the “getting caught” part, it still seems to stink of a lack of integrity. As Christians, however, we are held to a higher standard. Our goal should be to live a life that’s pleasing to God and that allows us to have influence on those around us. People seem to gravitate toward those who do things the right way. And on the other hand, if you’re not living with integrity, your influence will quickly be torn down. If you’re not trusted, then your relationships will have little eternal significance.Living with integrity in this day and age isn’t easy. You might say it’s harder than ever before. But with God’s Word and the Holy Spirit guiding your steps, it is possible to be the person of integrity that He created you to be. On a side note, I hope everyone is having a great thanksgiving with loved ones. I can tell you this, I may never recover from my diet of the last few weeks…since Halloween, I’ve been on an eating Iditarod. Be Nice. Grace wins.

Have This Mind
On Friday we talked about choosing humility before our feet hit the floor. Today, Paul shows us why. Jesus emptied Himself, that's the bar.
