What Has Your Attention? Shift Your Focus
Whatcha thinking about? For real, what has your attention and mind lately? I ask because I’ve been thinking about a discussion I had with one of you last week and we talked about being “intentional” with our thinking and how is effects our attitude and gratitude. What do I mean you ask? Well, stay with me here a minute. What I am suggesting, is we need to be more “intentional” or targeted in what we allow our minds to focus on. Are we focusing on what we don’t have and dreaming of what we want or are you able to be thankful for all you have and focus on the eternal? It’s a big mind shift and it’s not easy. But like everything, with practice, it gets easy. When we shift our focus from our wants to what we have, we give the praise to our Provider. Let your focus be on what is around you, what you have inside your home or in your closet and how you can allow those things to fuel your praise. We sometimes need to open our eyes to see what’s right in front of us. When we intentionally focus on seeing God in the midst of the “stuff”, we are redirecting our attention and a shift happens in our heart.“For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”2 Corinthians 4:17-18 Let’s have a great week!Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.

Nothing Compares
Much of what we're grateful for are things of this world. But in light of what we have in Christ, nothing compares. Nothing this world offers comes close to a personal relationship with Jesus.
