When Everything Changes, God Remains the Same
Why does everything have to change all the time? I mean, what’s wrong with the way things are now? Well, if you’re asking yourself these same questions, you’re probably like me and on the train to being an old dude or dudette! Ha, I’m only joking, but sometimes with the pace that the world is changing I find myself reflecting back to when things were simple and comfortable. But things change, it’s inevitable. 10 years ago I didn’t need glasses to see what I was writing...I also wasn’t writing this devotional either. But there is one thing we can all take comfort in that never changes, and that’s the love of our creator, the big man himself, God. But I get it, change is scary. Maybe lots of things have changed in your life and you’re feeling scared, too. But here’s what I learned in the face of the most drastic change of my life, our covenant with God, bought by the blood of Christ, will never change. His love and care for us is constant. When nothing else stays the same, He does! I can’t tell you how much that simple truth helped me this past year when I lost my father. So much changed that day, but the one thing that didn’t was His love and grace to get me through. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”Hebrews 13:8 I don’t know about you, but that enough for me. Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.

Have This Mind
On Friday we talked about choosing humility before our feet hit the floor. Today, Paul shows us why. Jesus emptied Himself, that's the bar.

What Does It Matter?
When you find yourself judging someone else's motives for sharing the gospel, ask what Paul asked from his prison cell: what does it matter? As long as Christ is preached.
