Finding Faith Through Life's Emotional Motocross
One of the great things I love about racing motocross is the incredible amount of personal dialogue. I mean I literally go through every emotion I think in a weekend of racing. Fear, pain, excitement, anger, joy, hope and doubt. But what’s always great is because of these emotions, high or low, it really keeps me focused on my faith in The Lord. I pray for his safety, the strength to ride strong, the wisdom to make good decisions and His grace on my heart to have compassion and love for my competitors. And you know what? God delivers. Now I’m not saying that my prayers result in wins every time. Not at all. What I’m saying is God calms me and make me focused on doing my very best and leaving the rest to him. Because let’s face it, He has control over our story, we are just called to be willing participants. And you know what? I can handle and adversity that gets thrown my way, because He is with me. He’s with you too. You can handle any adversity knowing that you win in the end. You can endure financial, physical, and emotional hardships cheerfully knowing that the game will be reset and you will start over in heaven. Your body will be restored to the perfection God originally intended. The entire world will be re-created without any lap traffic, evil, sickness, or death. That to me my friends is God’s Grace. “Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”Philippians 4:11-13 Have a groovy Monday!Peace,

Keeping Him at Bay
68 rounds in, and the fear still shows up. Knowing my life is in God's hands doesn't erase the worry. But perfect love casts out fear, one more time, every time it creeps back in.

I Got This Boys
The world demands proof. But Christians walk by faith, not by sight. When the seas crash, Jesus comes in like a relief pitcher saying I got this boys. Look beyond the raging seas.
