Give God Your Whole Heart, Not Just Part of It
Well, we’ve come to the end of another week. But as we close out this week, I can’t help but think about how “our” world seems to be in such a mess lately. With so much civil unrest it makes you wonder where God is in all of this? Well, I got to thinking about it and He is here, He’s just waiting on us. You see, God wants all of us all the time. Not just sometime. He wants us to be completely loyal to Him. He doesn’t want us living with one foot mired in the flesh, or this physical world. A divided heart won’t bring about the will of God. So even in our own lives sometimes God has to turn up the heat in the situation we are in so that we realize it is time to stop trying to live with one foot in the flesh and the other foot in the Spirit. It doesn’t work. The Lord often needs to bring us to a place where we realize just how crappy the flesh really is so that we will give ourselves wholeheartedly to Him. Think about how many times you see people being beat down by life before they start turning to God and the relief sets in. Remember, the Lord’s will is that we would grow in faith and bear fruit for His kingdom and for His glory.“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”John 15:8 Have a great weekend!Be Nice, Grace Wins
