God Hears Your Prayers - Keep Praying with Faith
Have you ever just cried out to the Lord in need and wonder if he “got the message”? I’m sure you have, I know I have. It’s funny though, even through we have faith that God hears us, we still have the human inclination to wonder if He heard us and if He’s got it. “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”1 John 5:14-15 Where am I going with this today? Well, the point is, God has heard our cry—He has not ignored it. Even though the we have not seen the answer yet, God is already working out His answer to help us.But, like we talked about yesterday, due to our inclinations for instant gratification, instant answers, we often think our prayers are falling on deaf ears. Instead of being persistent in prayer and having faith, we throw our arms up and say, “What’s the use!” or “I give up...”We need to understand that, as God’s children, He does instantly hear our prayers. He is fully aware of our situation and our heart’s situation. Sometimes His answer is yes, no, or wait.Look man, God wants you and me to keep praying with a heart of faith. He will not withhold any good thing from His children, but He will do what is in our best interest, and sometimes that is not what we think is best. I know, it’s hard for me to. But we need to have faith that God will do what is best for us, whatever that may be.Be Nice, Grace Wins

The Very Thing
When Paul said give thanks in all circumstances, he meant ALL. Including the crappy ones. Try thanking God today for the very thing that's keeping you from thanking Him.

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.
