Having Church in Everyday Conversations
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them."”Matthew 18:20 So, with the pandemic restrictions loosening this year around visiting my brokers in person, it’s been nice to get to see folks face to face. Last week, a broker I work with and I were talking shop and the next thing I knew we had spent an hour and a half talking not so much about work anymore but about our lives with Christ. I love it when this happens, and to be honest, it happens a lot. That’s a good thing because I think we would all agree the world needs some more Jesus! I know the old advice against talking politics and religion in business and to some degree I would agree. But when we have the chance to align our faith in the Lord with our work it’s euphoric. How do we do it? By just being strong in Who we are and grounded in our Christian principles. Having integrity and being humble. I’m a firm believer that of you’re grounded in Christianity, you don’t have to tell people or bring it up, it will show and they will know. It’s really a great place to be. I know the verse Matt 18:20 above was originally meant in context to refer to court ruling in biblical times. But I believe today it means that when at least two of us are talking Jesus we ARE having Church!I want to say thank you to all of you for allowing me to share “Church” with you Monday through Friday every week. I am genuinely grateful and I want you all to know I get so much out of it. I hope you get to have some “Church” of your own with friends and colleagues. Have a great week!Be nice, Grace wins

More Than Enough
Jesus doesn't need the sharpest tool in the shed. Two fish and five loaves, a shepherd's stick, whatever you've got, is more than enough. The Lord specializes in turning failures into successes.

In the Majority
If God is for us, who can be against us? A jealous God asks for our faithfulness in return, and gives us a friend who sticks closer than a brother. If God is on our side, we're in the majority.
