It seems like every time I open up social media or watch TV, there are posts about self help, self talk, the inner self, love yourself...blah blah blah. While there’s nothing wrong with wanting to better ourselves, God has plans for us. But all this “self” gets misconstrued when we describe a life following Jesus. We need to deny self. “Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."”Matthew 16:24-28 When you serve more, you take less. When you give more, you need less. When you thank more, you want less. When there’s more of God, you’re Selfless.Have a great day, bear some good fruit!Peace,

Before Your Feet Hit the Floor
Before your feet hit the floor each morning, surrender the day to Him. Humility isn't thinking less of ourselves, it's thinking of ourselves less often. His will over our own.

What Does It Matter?
When you find yourself judging someone else's motives for sharing the gospel, ask what Paul asked from his prison cell: what does it matter? As long as Christ is preached.
