The Hope That Is In You
What are you really into? What do you spend most of your time thinking and talking about?
Most who know me would say I'm really into flying, motocross, or being with my dogs. But is that what they'll say when I'm gone?
I hope not. I hope I'm remembered as a man who also talked about his love of Jesus. I may need to work on that more, but I can hope.
"But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect."
1 Peter 3:15
"The hope that is in you."
You see, I want people to see the hope in me. The hope that is Jesus. The hope that no matter what they're going through, with Jesus anything is possible.
This is why John and Peter said what they said when the authorities tried to silence them. Told to stop talking about Jesus, they replied:
"Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard."
Acts 4:19-20
Who can you tell of your hope today? Who can you share the Holy Spirit with?
I hope I just did.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

God With Us
Why did God send Jesus? He could have chosen any way to save us, but He came close. Immanuel means God with us, close enough to touch. So let's live that way too.
