Place Your Hope in God, Not Man
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”Joshua 1:8 We are talking about hope and your expectations. Most of the time when we talk about our expectations we are hoping for something to come our way. Usually it’s a success for something or someone. Here’s the deal, I’ve done this myself for years. I’ve “loaded the wagon” in my hope that X would happen. While hoping for good things isn’t wrong, it’s where we put the hope and expectations. You see, most of the time we put this hope and expectation on others, in man, and we are always set up to be disappointed,If not now, eventually. But, if we put our expectation and hope in the Lord we will not be disappointed.Let’s prevent frustration and disappointment by placing our hope and our trust in God alone. He will deliver when it’s time. He always has and He always will. Have faith. Be Nice, Grace Wins!
