What Are You Feeding Your Mind?
What are you thinking about? What are you feeding your mind?
What we allow our minds to focus on influences our actions. That's why it matters what we feed it. I can tell you it's been critical for me the last few years.
But seriously, are you focusing on the joy we have in Christ? Are we pondering His Word? Or are we letting the outside world dictate what we think about, even what "fake news" we digest?
God gave us the power of free will, and He gave us a powerful tool, the mind. But we have to learn to use it to strengthen our faith and steer our thinking in positive ways.
Many times, what we think about becomes our reality.
So take a closer look at what you're watching, reading, and who you're listening to. We need to focus on God's truths rather than what the world feeds us.
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."

Nothing Nice to Say
Death and life are in the tongue. What comes out of the mouth flows from what's stored in the heart. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Turns out that was the whole thing.
