What Do You Do When God Goes Silent?
So I've been reading and thinking about prayer and when God is listening. Does he take a break from listening? Naw, I think he's always there...
But how do we react when God is silent?
You see, God uses silence to draw out faith. Great faith!
When God is silent, do we listen to voices that question our right to hear from God, do we speak doubt, speak opposition or do we lean into God? It depends on whether we believe God will hear and answer our prayers or not. If we do, we lean in. If we do not, then God's silence exposes our limited level of faith. Note, faith is not defined by the type of answer God gives (sometimes the answer is no), but rather whether we lean in to get an answer from God when He is silent.
How long until your faith is defined not by the answers God gives you, but your willingness to put everything in his hands and truly lean on God and trust in him? Because that's real faith...

More Than Enough
Jesus doesn't need the sharpest tool in the shed. Two fish and five loaves, a shepherd's stick, whatever you've got, is more than enough. The Lord specializes in turning failures into successes.

In the Majority
If God is for us, who can be against us? A jealous God asks for our faithfulness in return, and gives us a friend who sticks closer than a brother. If God is on our side, we're in the majority.
