Be Watchful: Your Adversary Prowls Like a Roaring Lion
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”1 Peter 5:8-10 You ready? I mean are you really ready to face the devil? You see he prowls around you looking for an opening to come into your life. Imagine your life is surrounded by a protective fence of faith. He is outside just waiting for you to leave the gate open. Funny thing is, we probably already know where and when we leave it open. We know where the “holes in the fence” are too. Look don’t think the devil is just trying to give you a hard time. He is trying to ruin your life and lure you away from your walk with God. You have to know where he lies and be steadfast in your faith. We can’t kill him but we can certainly resist his temptations. So arm yourself and exercise your faith like you do your body. Hit the spiritual gym and be spiritually fit and ready to protect your house. He’s out there all the time, everyday. No need to live in fear but just be aware he’s there and be prepared to do something about it. Be Nice. Grace Wins.

The Most Expensive Gift
Grace. What is it exactly? Paul says we can't earn God's favor by works. Righteousness comes through faith. Grace is the most expensive gift, given freely to the one who puts his faith in Jesus.

He's Not Finished
Are you living in growth mode with Christ? None of us are going to get there in this life, and that's okay. God has more patience than we do, and He's not finished with us yet.
