Before I Knew It

Will we always see the result of the work we've done by witnessing to others and being there when they need us the most? Most certainly not. But that shouldn't discourage us from being there and sharing the Gospel. We never really know how God is using us. We just need to have faith that He is.

Sometimes we think we are asked to move mountains when Jesus is calling us to simply plant seeds. We may not see the end result, but we must have faith in the process.

"For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you."

Matthew 17:20

When Jesus came calling on me, it was well after the seed had been planted, before I even knew it.

Weakness is going to come. The world will place distractions in your path, and you may try to lean on your own good works and understanding. Take heart that God is here to help you grow. He will pick you up when you don't think you can stand. He will never leave you or abandon you.
