Expressing Gratitude to Everyone We Meet
You know, a few days ago I was talking about The Great Commission and how we are called to share the story of Christ. Well, today I got to thinking about the people we surround ourselves with and the people we express our gratitude towards. You see, sharing our gratitude with others is a great way to allow our words and actions to impact others. It’s these “others” I want to focus on today. It’s easy to express our gratitude with the people we are closer to, but what about the everyday people you come in contact with daily. The clerk at the grocery store, the waiter, etc. It’s easy to get going about our lives and we quit noticing people...this isn’t cool. Jesus spoke to everyone, the sick, the poor, the criminal. You see, he took to time to find value in everyone he met, look them in the eye and share the story of His Father in Heaven. There are people all around us we can and should be grateful for. “We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers,”1 Thessalonians 1:2 Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Attraction, Not Promotion

Street Cred
Our trials build credibility in our testimony, street cred in Christ. You wouldn't take flying lessons from someone who's never been in the cockpit. Paul wrote about standing firm from a prison cell.

Doers, Not Just Hearers
Many people walk away from church because they think Christians are hypocrites. Hypocritical moments happen, but a hypocritical lifestyle is a problem. Let's be doers, not just hearers.
