Learning to Listen: God is Already Speaking to You
So, I think it’s safe to say we all pray in some capacity for something, right? I would also think it’s fair to say that we are waiting for God to answer our prayers. We are constantly searching for that answer and to “hear” Gods answers for us. But here’s the thing; God isn’t the problem when it comes to hearing Him; we are. In our minds we often put the burden of hearing God on God Himself. We walk around waiting and asking for God to speak to us, tell us something. But what if he IS speaking to us? What if he has been and we just aren’t hearing him? Look man, we don’t need to find the perfect recipe to hear God, but we must be willing to grow and do our sincere best to listen for His voice and begin the conversation. We have important things to talk about, and so does He. So when we give up the ridiculous notion that our conversation is just us bringing a laundry list of prayer requests or just us waiting in silence for the clouds to part and His perfect will to descend inscribed on golden tablets, then we’re beginning to get the point. This is a two-way conversation, in service of a growing relationship. I believe God is always taking to us. In many way as we should be in a continuous conversation with him. The more we talk to him the more we begin to see His ways and how he is speaking to us. Maybe we just need to lean in a little and pay closer attention and then listen when we need to listen and speak when we need to speak.Be Nice, Grace Wins.FMJPs. I’ve hesitated to get into this because this group isn’t about me. However, I need to share my schedule with you so if I miss some days coining up you understand. My Chemo is every Monday and Tuesday at 8:30 am. My radiation is everyday and probably going to be at 7:00 am. This all begins Monday the 27th, lasting 7-8 weeks. Please bare with me as I do my very best to deliver our devotional at the normal times. I want to do this. Also, please don’t respond to this group text. It has worked so well for the last 3-4 years now. You may want to based on this information, but please please DO NOT respond. Love you all. Thanks for understanding.

Soliciting vs. Understanding
We say Lord willing, but do we actually trust His answers? Prayer and trust go hand in hand. I'm trying to spend my prayer time understanding God rather than soliciting Him.

We Got It
Paul worked harder than any of them, but knew it wasn't him, it was grace. We don't work hard to get grace, we work hard because we got it. Let your work be worship.
