Like a Father's Arm
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever."
Psalm 136:1
Today will be short and sweet because God's love is simple and pure and easy to talk about.
We have so much to celebrate and be grateful for, because His love is forever.
As believers, we are called to celebrate the good things in our lives and reach for Him in the bad. Cultivating a heart of gratitude allows us to shift our selfish thinking to God-centered grateful hearts.
His love endures forever, through all things, for all of time. His love covers our sin. His love fills in our gaps. His love grows in us. His love provides for us. His love lavishes good gifts on us. I could go on and on.
What has happened recently in your life that feels like a good gift? Where in your life can you say God is good?
I found His grace in the love I felt yesterday from others while at treatment. As long as I have been at this, I can feel His love over me, like a father puts his arm around a son with encouragement and support, allowing me to have emotion and be sick, but comforting me with love.
I am humbled with gratitude.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Nothing Compares
Much of what we're grateful for are things of this world. But in light of what we have in Christ, nothing compares. Nothing this world offers comes close to a personal relationship with Jesus.
