Selfless
It seems like every time I open up social media or watch TV, there is someone talking about self help, self-talk, the inner self, love yourself, blah blah blah.
While there's nothing wrong with wanting to better ourselves, God has plans for us. But all this "self" gets misconstrued when we describe a life following Jesus.
We need to deny self.
"Then Jesus told his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?'"
Matthew 16:24-26
When you serve more, you take less.
When you give more, you need less.
When you thank more, you want less.
When there's more of God, you're Selfless.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

Your Story to Tell
Just back from the Rockies, listening to old friends and new ones tell their stories got me thinking about sharing our own, the story of God's forgiveness. Who do you know who needs to hear it?

The Only Bible They'll Read
If someone followed you around all day, would they find Jesus? Not church, not rules, not your favorite preacher, would your life lead them to Jesus? You might be the only Bible some people read.
