The Power of a Heartfelt Thank You
Back to gratitude because it’s so important. If we are grateful we tend to have peace and serenity in our lives. It replaces want and unhappiness. You know, when we are grateful for something we are compelled to say thank you whether it be to a neighbor, friend, coworker or God Himself. Saying THANK YOU points out the good in another person and brings it to the surface. But check this out, there is a HUGE difference in giving someone a cursory “thanks” and a sincere THANK YOU. Don’t believe me? Try it today. Look someone in the eye or make a point in a conversation to say thank you and let them know you mean it. Relationships grow stronger when you express gratitude. A heartfelt “thank you” makes other people feel appreciated. And it reminds you of your dependence upon other people. Nobody does it on their own.Just as we need to show gratitude for our blessing from God to grow our relationship with Him...because ultimately we are dependent on Him. “always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,”Philippians 1:4 When you express your gratitude to someone else, it can be as if God is shining his face on both of you. Be Nice, Grace Wins!

The Very Thing

Find Him in the Ordinary
We get excited about big blessings, but His blessings are everywhere if we'll just look. The little chats. The slight smile. Even the dogs that need us. All of it is praiseworthy.

Like a Father's Arm
Today is short and sweet because God's love is simple. His love endures forever. I felt it yesterday at treatment, like a father's arm around a son. I am humbled with gratitude.
