This World Is Not Our Home
It’s been a long few days,I’m not going to lie. But through the pain, there has been time to reflect on what is happening and I am sad but at peace. Over the next two days, we will be receiving visitors to honor my father and lay him to rest. But this is just for us, as he is already with The Father...he is home. “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”Philippians 3:20-21 You see, sometimes we just need to be reminded that this world is not our home. When troubles come and we feel the heartache of a broken, sin-filled world, we need to remember this world is not our home. When we feel out of place, it’s okay. We have the hope of heaven in our hearts that a better tomorrow is coming. For now we are in the waiting, but it won’t last forever. The best is yet to come...That’s a promise!Much love,
