Bloom Where You Are Planted
"But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."
Jeremiah 29:7
God didn't put you where you are by mistake. He doesn't make mistakes.
When we believe in our hearts that God is good, that His thoughts toward us are peaceful, and that He is going to bring us through to the other side, we can rest and enjoy His peace no matter how strong the storm.
Like I said yesterday, wherever you are, whatever you're facing, pray. Pray for the place God is moving you to. Pray for the people caught up in your difficult circumstances. While it may feel like you're going through this alone, others are affected too.
Live in such a way that God is honored and gets the glory. The non-believers are watching, taking note of how you handle your mess. By blooming where you are planted, you do more to share your faith as a living testimony than any sermon could.
Listen, God doesn't want you to panic or run around trying to figure your way out. He asks you to stand still and see Him fight the battle, stand still and watch Him provide.
If Christ is in you, you will make it to the finish line. You'll see that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train, but God Himself. You, my friend, will pass through your mess and make it to the other side.
Be Nice. Grace Wins.

The Most Expensive Gift
Grace. What is it exactly? Paul says we can't earn God's favor by works. Righteousness comes through faith. Grace is the most expensive gift, given freely to the one who puts his faith in Jesus.

Not As the World Gives
Can we have peace when our world is turned upside down? The world's peace is sketchy. Jesus offers a different kind, built on God Himself, that thrives in the storm.

He's Not Finished
Are you living in growth mode with Christ? None of us are going to get there in this life, and that's okay. God has more patience than we do, and He's not finished with us yet.
