Faith: The Assurance of Things Hoped For
We talk about our faith everyday. We lean on our faith to get through everyday. Our faith gives us hope. But what is Faith really? In Hebrews it tells us;“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”Hebrews 11:1 That’s it. It’s believing in something we cannot see or touch. Faith is a choice, man. We chose to have faith. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,”Ephesians 2:8 Every Christian will agree that salvation is a gift, not something we attain to by our own efforts. But to receive this gift we need to make a choice to believe in God’s gift of his Son, Jesus Christ. Faith opens the door to a wonderful life. Having faith opens the door to an eternity in Heaven. You can go to church and study the Bible all you want, but until you have complete faith in what you’re learning, you can’t experience the grace is Gods gift. Be Nice. Grace wins.
